Tertiary Regional Cancer Centers

Government of India has recognized 27 Cancer Centers under the erstwhile National Cancer Control Programme. Central government has launched a comprehensive National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases & Stroke (NPCDCS) in 2010 in many districts across 21 States.

Under this programme, cancer centers and government hospitals across the country are eligible for receiving financial assistance up to Rs. 60 million for providing cancer care services to patients.
